Weather Forecast: Partly to Generally Cloudy Conditions Across Nepal Today

Kathmandu: The weather across Nepal is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy today, influenced by local and westerly winds, as well as a low-pressure area extending from Uttar Pradesh to West Bengal in India, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
The forecast indicates light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at several locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and at one or two places in the rest of the country.
Gusty winds are possible in some areas of Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, and there is a chance of light snowfall in the high hilly and mountainous regions.
Tonight, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces, as well as in the hilly regions. The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to mainly fair conditions. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected at a few locations in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces.
